They wear a special uniform and attend meetings every week. They learn new things to help them as they grow up and become Scouts. What is a Cub Scout Pack A Cub Scout Pack is a group of Cub Scouts who meet each week and find out about many different things and to play exciting games. They go on outings to interesting places and spend weekends away on Pack Holidays. The Cub Scout Pack usually consists of 24+ children who are divided into groups called Sixes. YOU'LL LEARN NEW SKILLS! As an 8 year old, you can gain your Bronze Boomerang Badge by passing some interesting tests. When you are older, there's a Silver Boomerang to aim for, and best of all, a Gold Boomerang. Your favourite hobby, or an exciting new one can help you gain many other badges. How about Aboriginal Culture, Bushman, Computers, Cooking, Cyclist, Fisherman, Flights, Pets, Photographer, Sportsman. and these are just a few. Wow! You"ll be proud to wear them on your distinctive uniform. It sounds great, doesn't it! And you'll find it really is when you become a Cub Scout. |
